Smt. Anjali Devi had an illustrious film career as a talented and successful actor. She was an ardent devotee of Bhagawan and was blessed with several interactions with Bhagawan. She had a noble wish to make a film on Swami's life and Swami acceded to her prayer and granted permission and blessings to start the project.

Swami took keen interest in this noble endeavour. He personally revealed to her production team the entire life story of Shirdi Sai and Sathya Sai Avatar. Some of the events depicted here are not known even to ardent, long time devotees of Shirdi Sai. Swami even supervised the sets that were put up for the shooting. He even selected the artistes for the lead roles. Smt. Anjali Devi performed the role that she truly deserved; the roles of the mothers of Shirdi Sai and Sathya Sai.

Swami blessed this telefilm on Guru Purnima day (1999) in a formal function in Sai Kulwant Hall. The Divine story based on the culmination part of Shirdi Sai era and the childhood Saga of Sathya Sai Avatar cannot be zipped and delivered in a conventional movie time span of three hours. So, the shooting continued thereafter and it was broadcast on major television channels spanning several episodes.
