Concert By Ustad Amjad Ali Khan

The great sarod artist has won many national and international awards including the Padma Shri, the Padma Bhushan, the Tansen Award and the International Music Forum Award. A sixth generation sarod player, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan gave his first concert at the age of six and his first solo recital at twelve. He has been a devotee of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba for many years and had the chance of offering his music to the Lord on many previous occasions including during the 80th Birthday celebrations in 2005.
This is the concert he rendered during the 85th Birthday celebrations of our Lord, along with his sons, Aman Ali Khan and Ayan Ali Khan. Catch the Sarod trio in an exclusive interview too which is part of this DVD.
