This ninth volume of Sathya Sai Speaks series contains 34 invaluable discourses given by Bhagawan during the year 1969. In this volume you will find Him showering His divine wisdom on several topics some of which are given below. In the first discourse, He spoke about sadhana and its effect, true dhyana and how to secure the grace of God. In some of the later discourses He dwelt upon the four stages in sadhana and how to progress in sadhana. Swami also talked about japa and dhyana, and the seven steps in meditation in chapters 6, 10 and 22. In the 2nd chapter He highlighted the responsibilities of parents and elders in bringing up the 'charming saplings'. There are two discourses on Sivaratri festival, its significance and message. He also spoke about the inner significance of Vijayadasami and what is the dharma of a Hindu. What is seva and how it should be rendered are explained in detail in four subsequent chapters. There are several anecdotes throughout the book, including those from Mahabharata and Ramayana.
