Sathya Sai Speaks volume 7 contains discourses given by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in the year 1967. He was in Chennai in January and April speaking on the existence of God and the responsibility of parents, festival of karaga, relationship between jnana, mind and sense control, Jesus Christ, intelligence and God, religion and social customs etc. Topics like love of God, "Who am I?", cure for depression, the influence of Upanishads on prince Dhara Shukoh, importance of vedas and sastras, developing the vision of Reality (rajnana), and seva (service) were elucidated in His four discourses in Mumbai. People of Gujarat were fortunate to hear His divine discourses in Bhavanagar and Jamnagar. He spoke twice in Pune, dwelling on the responsibility of rulers and teachers in educating children, effect of indirect moral instructions, right usage of intelligence, and satsangh for inner cleanliness. He also visited Ernakulkam, Tirupunitura and Anantapur. The speciality of Sathya Sai Organisations, how one should speak, spiritual health, and the effect of namasmarana were explained. In two discourses in January, Swamy dwelt on meditation and concentration. In six of His discourses Bhagawan has spoken on how to render service, sevaks as 'better persons', and the relation between sevak and Sai. In His other discourses he dwelt on the glory of India, culture, reading Bhagawad Gita, Parsi teaching, inner equanimity, practising discrimination, respect for women, tackling criticism, elements and senses, self-confidence and faith, significance of image worship, parents without a son, chanting Gayatri mantra, overcoming fear and hatred, avoiding anger, good books etc. Stories told by Bhagawan include "Goodness of princess Zebunnissa Begum", "Cat and the Cotton Merchants ", "Monk and the Bear", "Elephant and Bridal Procession", Zoroaster and the Prince of Iran, Lord Krishna's Kalinga episode, and stories on Chaitanya and Pundaleeka.
