'Aum' is the sound symbol of Brahman, the Cosmic Being. It is the primordial sound with which Creation is believed to have started. It is the most exalted syllable in the Vedas. It is a prefix to all mantras (hymns). All sounds are the variations of 'Aum' only. It is a combination of three letters. "A" of Brahman "U" of Vishnu and "M" of Maheswara indicating its high potency. Its utterance or for that matter mere listening with devotion itself is an act of worship or meditation

This Audio CD contains Omkar, runs in a continuous loop, repeating the sacred Mantra over and over so that the listeners could attune them with its auspicious divine vibration.

The correct address of God is Om. Just as the word God consists of three letters G-O-D, likewise OM is the combination of three syllables A-U-M. However, when you chant OM, you should not separate the three syllables and chant, Aaaa...Uuuuu...Mmmm! You should utter Om, but not it's spelling! Om should be uttered in a sweet and smoothly progressive way starting with the sound of "A" coming from the navel, and then the sound "U" from the throat, and finally conclude with "M" from the lips. It should resemble the sound of a far-off aeroplane in the sky, gradually increasing in volume as it comes near, and then slowly fading away.
