Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba chose His parents for His Advent to re-establish Sanathana Dharma, and to transform humanity to a higher level of living, and to make everyone a better human being. He showed by personal example of how one can serve fellow human beings with love and compassion, and to realise that they are divine in nature. He had great admiration for mother and motherland. To show to humanity that one should respect one's mother, He visited the parents Samadhi twice every year. He had given discourses many times on the 6 May in memory of the chosen mother Easwaramma, on the greatness of mother, and her sacred love, and the children's duty of respecting the mother as God.
