'Mananat-trayate iti Mantrah' - By the constant contemplation of which one is protected and is released from the cycle of birth and death, is called a Mantra.
Particularly Maha Mrutyunjaya Mantra is considered to be beneficial for mental, emotional and physical health. This is also known as Moksha Mantra, as it bestows longevity and immortality.
